Don't assume a US Chevy dealer will honour a Canadian GM warranty.  They may even flat-out refuse to touch a grey market car.

This, combined with the flakiness of the seller, is reason enough to run away.

How about this one?  Or is a slush-O-matic out of the question?

Yeah, well, at least they didn't ask you to perform minor surgeries for a discount, like they do to Rags.

looks like I'm going for the Sonic with the CF hood. They got me approved pretty quickly, and the car was originally purchased from that dealer. Clay also checked the GM info on it, and it has a special policy water pump which means it's warrantied until 2022. (or 150K)

Nice, good luck.

Over the weekend I put my summer wheels back on and gave my car its first wash since like December. A few of the paint chips on the fron of the hood made me think about getting a carbon fiber hood instead.

So you can have cracked CF instead of chipped paint?

Heh, even I've washed the Explorer a couple times since then. But it gets sooooo nasty when it's snowy that it's with the time when I have a nice Sunday afternoon with not much else to do.

I am pretty diligent about washing my car in reasonably warm weather, but I have never considered washing anything outside when it is below 40 degrees.
