It's only a 4 speed auto, and I don't think anything on those ratios are different from




Yeah quick search shows it's the same 4AT used in every GM FWD car of this size ever.


Low and wide gear earios take advantage of the loads of torque that these pushrod engines make.


I'm pretty sure if you put that Trans to something DOHC it would be all wrong.

Most practical body shape (beats A3/S3/TT), available stickshift (again beats out Audi MQBs), Golf R not worth $10K more based on numerous trusted journalists (particularly with performance package).



It depends on what you are after. The Skoda Octavia combi RS, and the Superb are also on MQB.
