All joking aside, i am at the dealer now (just waiting on paperwork). Will start a new thread after taking more pics when i get home or tomorrow at the latest. This is all i can do remotely:

Pulled the trigger, eh?

Congratulations, sounds like a lot of fun...just don't try and drag race a Focus RS .

I like the 2016 rims so much more than the 2017 ones. Congrats man, that's a sweet ride.

Interesting. I like the 2017 wheels way more than the 2016 wheels.

Doesn't matter, though, since SJ is doing the right thing by getting aftermarket wheels anyways.

Congrats on the car! I really like them. I'd take one over the Ficus RS anyways.

Sweet.

Better car than the Focus RS and an altogether different car than the 340i (also quicker than either w/DSG). SS is a whale though - almost 3' longer. I don't think you'll miss it.

Curious how Apple CarPlay pans out. The Maps function looks terrible and I wonder if the steering wheel controls can interface to the music player.

Map function in carplay is more rudimentary than the on board nav, but it is usable and would be nice for some buying the base model.

The music app works with the steering wheel controls as far as they go. Its just volume and track control though. If you want to go to a new playlist or album you have to us the main screen. IMHO audi's new mmi system is superior to VWs system but its not too bad overall and is an improvement over my S4s older version of MMI.
