Style and aesthetics over comfort.

Shift feel is the most important. I have always preferred a large, heavy ball, devoid of surface markings. I don't like strange shapes and surface irregularities in my hand. I would rather feel the cold, or burning hot metal in my hand. That is comfort.

Wheel hop. I need to take the torque mount and fill the holes with windshield adhesive, or polyurethane casting compund.

Weld the diff

I took a look, and the diff appears.to be immersed in a liquid. I am not certified to weld in that environment.

Maybe it's like an RC car then and you need a thicker liquid... I suggest roofing pitch

Cornstarch.  Low viscosity under low shear conditions, high viscosity (near solid) when under high shear.
Needs more Jiggawatts

Silly putty might work.

This continued lack of floor mats is quite irritating. I may spring for the $110 WeatherTech floor liners, even though there is no weather here. :mask:

WeatherTechs are always worth it.

Is sand valuable when captured?

No, but it makes for fine sport.

Maybe that pure white tropical beach sand, but the sand stuck in my shoes is usually mixed with oil-dry and red clay.

You just shake out the mats (outside of the car of course) and sand is forcefully evicted.

I was about to order some Weather Tech floor liners, but then I saw this:

http://www.weathertech.com/starbelt/

Should I get Star Belts for Versa S, instead of floor liners?

I finallly got my floor mats from the dealer. I still want Weather Techs, though. :rage:

Almost done with my second tank of gas. 37.1 MPG average, according to the trip computer. Whale sea how accurate that is when I fill the tank.
2008 TUNDRA (Truck Ultra-wideband Never-say-die Daddy Rottweiler Awesome)

Eye of the Tiger

Displayed MPG = 37.1
Calculated MPG = 35.0

So it's about 5% optimistic. Or the gas pump was off. Not bad. It says I got 42.6 MPG on my commute home today.

another thing to consider is that cooler weather helps fuel mileage because the air gets more dense. Unless its snowing.

yeah but the places that don't have ethanol mixed in already, many times get it.

Do star belts work as emergency serpentine belts if needed?

I believe more dense air would hurt mpgs, not help it

Versa S is impervious to temperatures. I know this because there is no temperature gauge.
