Dudes. I once lost a race with a dump truck in Swift, but Versa S has like 40 more powers, and only 600 more pounds.

After reading some great (extremely boring) information (hearsay) on BobIsTheOilGuy (best forum in the world for insomnia), I have gone with Valvoline Synpower 5W-20, and a Fram Ultra XG6607. Only a few hundred miles before I change out that nasty factory oil. I'm not waiting until 5000.
Oh, and I got an aftermarket magntic drain plug. Very good.

LOL I've been reading a ton in BobIsTheOilGuy.

Does Versa normally use 20 weight?

I like looking at the oil filter dissections.

...well anyway.... So I worked in an R&D lab for an oil company and ran many predictive maintenance programs... Anyone that thinks you can pull a decent oil sample from a small cruddy ass oil pan and think it means something needs to put down the crack pipe.

Bob started like 15+ years ago and at least back then was a distributor trying to sling some of his product line.

I have seen small oil samples that mean something. I have seen oil samples that are sparkly enough to paint a tiara, and oil samples that could pass for peanut butter milkshakes.

Just look at amazing threads like this:
https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/4264850/
It's like some kind of weird fetish forum.

Summary of actual thread content:

"Looks beautiful"
"Wow ... incredible ..."
"I bet efficiency is way up"
"... hard to get off ..."
"Not a huge deal, just anal ... "
"I like to see what is in there ..."
"... stretch it out, looking for holes ... You might be surprised."
"I don't know if I could go that long, personally."
"Very nice! Thanks for the C&P."

I have chosen a wheel. Cast aluminum, 15"x6.5", 38mm offset, under 13#, $85 shipped. I will order four of them next week. Now I need to choose 205/60/15 tires.

For the price of this build, you could have just bought a left over Si and been done with it.

You might as well put a sign on your car that says "PULL MY VALVE STEMS" to every delinquent kid who passes by.

I thought of that, but realize most people wouldn't have a damn clue what a valve core tool is. They would probably just get stolen, because shiny.

Years ago, my father was hunting and a guy started shooting bullets over my dad's head from a hill side. My dad shot back towards the guy and pinned him down behind a log. My dad then hiked out and when he spotted the other guy's vehicle he pulled all 4 valve cores and drove away. I imagine he enjoyed the 20 mile hike to the nearest town.

Cool. Slashing tires is so much work, when all you have to do is pop the valve cores out. Almost nobody carries spares.

It causes the same level of inconvenience without property damage.

Theft of air.

This happened way before people started charging for air. It was more of a Free Willy event. Environmentalists would praise it as freeing air from its shackles.
