Bring it in now, and use your rental or service loaner to recoup your auto-x skills then install coilovers when you get your car back.

So, today I wanted to see if Versa S had a speed limiter, and I failed. Versa S hit an indicated 120 MPH before road conditions changed as to require the speed of travel to have a smaller numerical value.
Anyone that thinks they need a faster car than this is a lunatic.

LUNATIC :shakesfist:

SHO did 120mph easy, had to work to get up to 140mph (lots of open road) and only went that fast twice in 2 years. Germany rocks. ;)

My friends were hitting limiters in minivans. I have (an older) friend who had an older friend in his Z4 the first time. Driver asked passenger what was the fastest he'd ever been in a car.
P: how fast are we going now?
D: 140mph
P: this is the fastest then
D: (mashes the accelerator down, to a self-reported 160mph)

I will see if I can get up to 140. I'm thinking 130.

As the wind gets all belligerent it takes more HP to go faster. SHO had 220HP and better aerodynamics than Mustangs of the same era...

Versa S will not tolerate belligerent wind.

I think it's time to call the dealer and have this engine replaced. It is getting louder every day.

Well, I don't plan on trading down to a Camry on coilovers ... ever. I should keep this thing for a good while. I need a "reliable" commuter.

kruuzin @ 63 in the Altima. Very low RPM, engine sounds like a rumbling stomach, and still 10 MPG behind Versa S with rod knock.
