Pyongyang?

Snazzy.

They love 1970s American cars there! Have you not seen the funeral of Kim Jong-Il?

Are you in fucking Abu Dhabi?
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Does it have a winch?

No winch.  No supercharger.  No air suspension.  No mudders.  No balls.

On the front; yes.

Also yes I'm in Abu Dhabi.  Was in Dubai the last two weeks.  Saw a G65 on 18's with knobbies as well but I was driving so no pic

That explains the sand tires and no winch. You can't hook a winch to sand.

Okay, so two weeks for a shifty picture ain't bad...

Anyways. I'm really liking it so far. Rides and handles more truck like than many would like, but still solid and responsive in a heavy handed way. Mileage is lousy, but I expected that.

First thing to go is going to have to be these tires, which are Michelin somethings. Probably looking at Toyo or Nitto ATs a few sizes up in height, and I think I'll powder coat the stock rims black. All the aftermarket rims in this size look like the belong on an Escalade owned by a guy who uses his gold chains to accent his chest hair.

Do newer 4runner wheels not fit?

No. Tundra wheels would fit, but none of those really catch my eye either. There are a couple of aftermarkets that don't look horrible.

Was it a southern car?  Body appears remarkably good for a vehicle with that kind of mileage to have lived in the rust belt its whole life.

Just need a winch, a snorkle, some knobbies, brush bars, a light bar, and a spare tire strapped to the roof and you'll be all set for mall crawling.

Surprisingly no.

It was a Traverse City car: serviced every 3000 miles without fail at the local Toyota dealership there.

Mike linked me to a site a while back with some good clean looking five and six spoke wheels for various Toyota trucks.  IIRC the pricing wasn't bad either.

Next on the list: disabling the DRLs, and finding a Bluetooth adapter for the radio. Don't know if I should bother trying to find a replacement for the missing 5-CD magazine or not.

Instead of DRLs, mount a giant LED lightbar on the roof.
