Does nobody else find the trend for projecting logos onto the ground from the doors thing to be hokey as hell?

I didn't even notice that!

Is that actually a production feature?

The new 7 series includes a "light carpet". I think some other cars do too.

Well that's fancy as frig.

Come to think of it, my car has a light under each side mirror that comes on and lights up the surface immediately outside each front door.  Helps at night in case there's a puddle to avoid being stepped in.  Nothing fancy like a logo though, just a pool of light.

A puddle light is fine and even useful.  Making it look like a pony or other logo is gimmicky.  Unless it's the Bat Signal.  That's cool.

The new F150 Platinum has an available ass massager. No kidding. You can adjust the rate and intensity of it. Also an automatic tailgate.
As a truck enthusiast, I regard these features as overkill, absolutely ridiculous and a waste of money.

The power tailgate thing is pretty silly in my mind, as the hollow metallic thunk of a tailgate being dropped is one of the quintessential things that makes a pickup a pickup.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Focus group studies show that F150 drivers have big asses that need massaging

And a handle!

Built-in stripper pole.  And a "man step".  Which wouldn't be necessary if manufacturers didn't feel the need to make their trucks bigger and bigger.  Damned half-tons are physically larger than 1-tons from the 90s, but aren't more capable.

Looks great. The headlights and side cladding push the center mass a bit high but overall it's pretty awesome. Interior is amazing. I bet it sells horribly.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Are you like Dave, never ridden in a pickup?

I've never ridden in the bed of a pickup, but I've been in a pickup. Not often, it a few times.

But the Navigator isn't a pickup.
