This will be on all cars going forward.

I kinda like it.

This tilts the decision; I'm going to have to get an X5 so I can express my modernity.
edit: and yes, I like it too.

I test drove a new X5 hybrid a week ago. I loved it. It's a fast and superbly comfortable luxury SUV. And the new extended electric range makes it much more useful in electric mode.

Logo looks good. Don't see myself buying a new BMW any time soon though.

BMW needs an economy car. Wait, so does everyone else. :hammerhead:

Lucky for you they make the 2GC which is the best economy car 50K can buy!

The BMW econo car lineup could have an alternative name. Just BM.

A modern 318ti is pretty easy to get.  You buy a used one, install a bluetooth/car play unit in the dash and backup camera, and boom!  Modern 318.

And maybe install a random buzzer/beeper/dinger/noise machine with matching blinking dash lights to get the full new luxury car experience.

Logo is okay, however, it does nothing to offset the sight of those malignant kidneys.

Yeah, the new grills look really obnoxious.

I've read on a few sites that the new logo is not going to be put on their cars but more for online and print marketing purposes.  That's weird.

My Honda is unloved. I'm looking for something German to make me feel better before I die, an event which, judging by the state of the arteries around my heart, may not be to far off. Tesla? BMW? Audi?  Tesla's well ahead of the pack so far.

Shelby had a wonky heart most of his adult life.  He lived till he was 89.  Get a Cobra, do a little track time, have fun.

Looks awful. So characterless.

I think they wanted it to look modern and sleek, but it just... fails at it. The older logo with the intense black ring was so much better.

It looks like it was made with a plastic Pog and a Cricut machine.

Exactly. And it looks like it's multiple individual pieces since you can see the paint color behind it. Not a fan of that.

I like it. I like that it's individual pieces instead of one blob.

Yeah, it'll look great with crusty green wax bits embedded in the letters.

Soft toothbrush & soap is how I've always fixed waxy bits embedded in letters & logos.
