I like #2 (w/out rear fender skirts). The '61 Continental was one of those rare designs that ushered in a new era for its market.

Detroit's done large car retro in recent times, with some success (300C, Magnum) and not so much (Continental). Nowadays of course, Detroit's out of the car game save for niche stuff.

Here in N Georgia there's a lot of Detroit's truck & SUV offerings; they don't do cars anymore. Go down into the suburbs & it's Hyundai/Kia, Toyota & Tesla. V few actual cars.
