Sort of.  Only 500 made.  Less HP than prior ones.  CVT only.  Not sure if coming to US.

it will never sell here with a cvt.  It is a shame how incompetent decision making killed a car with a fairly decent following.  Nobody wants a STI with SUV body cladding and a cvt.

I don't understand this Subaru corporate decision at all. Crap on the STI name by making it significantly less hp than the old model with only a lame cvt transmission choice for 500 total sales?

Yet ANOTHER once-storied Japanese nameplate left to languish for years and years into irrelevancy. Such a shame. The original WRX was a gamechanger, as was the STi, albeit to a lesser extent.
