Average. The pics were taken at idle while presumably not in motion, meaning instantaneous mileage of 0 mpg for a while. The computer looks like it had been reset at some point too (date says Jan. 1 1988).

Thought so; I read a very apt description of the shifter as a "phallus" and when I saw this one I pictured the same, so it made me wonder, lol.
