Does one really need 26 Lexus LS400s?

I guess once you get two A3s, anything goes.

Maybe if he sold off some of his collection he could buy a bigger country.

I actually think that's disgusting.  I'm all for excess, but cars are meant to be driven

There is absolutely no reason to lock all those wonderful cars up in a warehouse somewhere and not drive them.  That's just not right.

No problem.  :ohyeah:

The SL73 AMG was a limited edition AMG model produced in late 1999 to 2001.

The car came fully equipped with every conceivable MB option at the time making it very heavy. It had however the power. 525-hp I believe from its 7.3-l V12 engine, itself bored out and fine tuned from the existing 6.0 MB V12 from the SL600. 0-100 km/h took place in 4.7 seconds I believe. Torque was somewhere in the 740 Nm region (540 lb/ft+). 5-speed A/T.

That's about all you need to know. Oh, and it wasn't cheap.

No way, a "very heavy" MB AMG product?

The guy is the richest man on the planet. He can afford 9 McLaren F1's and still have spare cash to buy a thousand islands. Buying some McLaren F1's to this guy is like going to a Quicky Mart and buying some ice cream with pocket change...

Correction Wimmer he is ONE of the world's richest men on the planet. (estimated worth today is about 20 Billion US)

The reason he bought all those cars is for all his wives/gf's/import hoes

giant_mtb

Why not just buy one of EVERYTHING instead of buying a bunch of one thing?  Why would you need more than one of the same car?  Parts car?

I thought he was worth 43 billion US? I read that a few years ago. Looks like all this car buying took its toll on the cash.
