Speaking of that, I drove my friend's 2002 Altima the other night and there were way too many damn buttons on the wheel to easily use cruise. Also, why the hell do some car manufacturers feel the need to not light up steering wheel controls? I hate having buttons in cars that aren't backlit at night.

My Maxima is not lighted and it sucks.  The Sequoia lights up though.

Ever see the steering wheel on a Pontiac 6000 AWD?  The whole center area (where the airbag in a modern car would be) is completely filled with buttons.

Hate to break it to you but any GM SUV will be hailed as the bane of human existence by the greenies even if it's powered by hamsters.

I think they've decided to kill the 4200. They aren't putting it in the GMT900s and the GMT360s are on their way out.

Couldn't agree more. I wouldn't be surprised if the mileage hit was barely noticable to boot. That engine gets best in class mileage in the Tahoe and Silverado.

No, a 3.6L V6 with VVT that makes 275HP.

I do not think it is direct-injected, as they seem to be saving that for the 2008 CTS; a car about which--to digress--Edmunds' Chief Editor had this to say today:
