Heaping servings of rice? From the outside, the only thing I can see that you could call ricey are the crazy, vertically-stacked exhaust pipes and the slices behind the front wheels. Which mind you, I dont like all too well.

No.  It's just that Lexus decided to throw three extra heaping servings of Rice-a-roni on the car, and turned a farily attractive small sedan into a ugly ricers wet dream. 

AMG, M, and the S bodykits manage to a sporting flair while still remaining low-key.  This is just obnoxious.

The front with that body kit looks better than the regular IS, but the side body kit infront of the front doors look like they were designed by ricers. The rims look terrible and those rear stacked exhausts also look goofy. Overall, I don't like it. Plus, Lexus keeps bragging about the technology onboard: sounds like a car with a lot of electronic nannies that will prevent it from being driven like a BMW.

The ghastly Lexus IS-F side vent looks nothing like the well proportioned side vent on the Corvette Z06.

I think what's wrong with the Lexus IS-F is that the body kit on a whole is pretty tame and conservative - and all of a sudden, you have this little air scoop on the side behind the front wheels which looks totally out of place. And the rims don't look nice IMO.

Rims are nice, but is that vent even functional? It is on the Vette. And even the vette's vent isnt' THAT big.

fender vents are either for brakes or to releave pressure inside the engine bay and allow for better cooling (like on the RX8 for instance)
