Sorry if it's been guessed...

Jaguar E type?

Raza

QuoteSorry if it's been guessed...

Jaguar E type?
It hasn't been guessed, except vaguely, as "Jaguar XK?" was guessed--the Jag E Type was also known as the XKE in America.

It's a good guess, and knowing my affinity for Jags it's a viable one.  But still wrong.

Raza

QuoteF Type?    (wild guess)
Ooh...F Type..  A beautiful concept car that needs to be built, but Jaguar is too niggardly to build it.

But no.

That absolutely has to be it, that was probably even the picture used:

However, I will wait to post #61 just in case I am wrong again.

Raza

Damnit...so close to the record!

No, it had nothing to do with any of your hints. I was looking through an old issue of Classic and Sportscar and so a pic of the Lotus and the rest is history ;)
