Yep. Good engine, although the turbo lag drove me crazy in traffic/downtown.

I always thought they were a piece of shit.
Power output was low imo for a turbo motor, though the power delivery was very good.
My brothers car had a 1.8t in it, made it to 40K before it threw the timing belt and ruined the motor, luckily he had an extended warranty.
The warranty company provided him with a used 1.8t with 40k on it, first thing i thought of is that this one will probably be junk to. Well the mechanic made it about 2 miles on his testdrive after the engine install and that one threw the belt too.

We later found out that the 1.8t had a well known premature timing belt failure, what a gem.
