Subaru of Hamilton on Upper James. My dad has apparently know the owner of that dealership for 20 some odd years.

He's offered me the keys to his Legacy B-Spec for a day if I want them as long as I "don't burn the tires off it". I'll wait for some nicer weather before I take him up on that and there will be pics.

I can't find anything on the engine, but are you sure it's a DOHC?  The last time I checked, I thought it used the EJ252 or EJ253, which are both SOHC.  I have an EJ25D, which is the last of the DOHC EJ25s until the EJ255 which came with the newer cars between 04-06.

In any case, it's a great car.  Welcome to the world of winter drifting fun.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

It IS a SOHC

You see, useless loitering around Subaru forums and verification by Wikipedia do come in handy at times!

Ro, you aren't a Subaru owner why again?

Actually I'm not sure. It could very well be a SOHC.

I don't know actually. There's a part of me that wishes that I bought an STi, 350Z or Elise, a part of me that's happy with the A4, and another part of me that still wants a 3er.

When the next STI Limited comes out, I'm forcing you to take one on a testdrive.  It seems like you love these cars almost as much as the other Subie nuts on this board do.  Either that or find yourself an old 2.5 RS or WRX to play with.

Winter threw us one last hurrah Friday night so my brother got to have a little bit of fun.

He has already come up with another definition for ABS, "Ain't Braking Sucka". I have to agree on that, ABS is annoying in the snow.

Other than that, he just mentioned how odd it is to hear the rear tires throwing snow and shit up into the rear tire wells. The summerish Toyos on it don't exactly lend themselves to winter duty. He mentioned spinning all 4's and having some fun oversteering, lol...
