Note:On the Volvos I didn't know which one fit better so I lumped them into one.

I would take the one I'm buying.

2004 Chrysler Intrepid R/T Clone - Titanium Graphite [3.5L V6 - 250hp]
1996 BMW 325i Convertible - Brilliant Black [2.5L I6 - 189hp]

TBR

Right now the A4, once the second gen CTS hits the streets my opinion might change.

You guys already know.

So a 3-series or C-class?

I thought you knew. My dad wants me to take a look at some corporate insider deals but it's most likely going to be a 335i sedan.

I think I'd probably take the Saab, actually. It's a hard choice though. My pick for this category changes a lot.

I went with the 08' CTS-V
So you voted for a car that we know nothing about?

Raza

Tough decision on this one.  Not much here I'd want to buy.

Well if you wanna get picky, half of these are compacts, too.  :P

The 9-3 is on my own short list, they depreciate rather rapidly (make that very, very rapidly).

You were just orgasming over the C-Class a few days ago.

Used is different than new.  New, I probably wouldn't buy any of them.

Wait, since when were any of these cars "Mid-Size Lux Sedans"?

I voted 3er because it's the best car on the list, although the E-Klasse happens to be the best 'Mid-Size Luxury Sedan'.

I consider them "Mid-size" simply because they're bigger than the compact Caddy BLS for example. I guess the STS,5-series etc. would actually be considered "Midsized"

The BLS is based on the 9-3, it isn't significantly smaller than any of these cars; they're all classified as compact (although that is stretching it nowadays, but they're certainly not mid-size).

I still would've voted for the 07' too, so it doesn't really matter.

I just compared the interior volume of the mid-size Camry to the 3-series and most of the measurements are about the same.

Irrelevant because the Camry is a good 10 inches longer (it's bigger in every exterior dimension).

The 3-Series is classified as a compact sedan.

Raza

I guess I'm going to have to go A4/S4.  New, those are pretty much the only ones I'd buy.

A4/S4. I might give the new C and IS a look too, but I think that's probably what I'd end up with if I were shopping.

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

It doesn't matter what they're called just pick your favorite.

Champ

Probably the S60 R if you'll let me choose that, if not probably the 335.

This is rather a vague question, and even though "Price is no object," it's a rather large price swing for some of these cars which makes it a loaded question in favor of the 335 almost every time.

chevyguy06

The S60R could've been chosen...I lumped the other high performance versions together, why not the Volvo?
