Go at it Eagle Scouts!

BTW, I put so many options up because I want to provoke conversation.  I realize that I didn't put any Nissans, Laforzas, 4Runners, Pajeros, etc. up, so talk about it.  I just gave a short list.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

i picked the unimog because i didnt see a G-class. but then, the pic loaded. :banghead:

again, this was a pretty tough choice. i saw first hand what a defender could do and the guy driving it said the G-class would do more.
@heelntoe

Secret Chimp

Probably the Defender, but I voted for the clown Beetle :P

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

The G-class followed closely by the Unimog.

I voted for the Range Rover.  It's a classy vehicle and has very nice off-road abilities.

...It also has headlight wipers.

Range Rover   Capable off road, but comfortable enough that you wouldn't get cramp or back ache after driving it for more than half an hour.

Voted for the Defender, because I've just always loved it.  But the Wrangler and G Wagon are excellent too, and I'd say that the G Wagon provides the most balance between comfort and utility (I think it's better offroad than a RR too).

I picked the G because I love them--every one of them from the POS in 1979 to the G55 (do they make a 63?).

My second choice would probably be a Defender.  When I looked at that 2007 model pictured there, it made me wish we still got it here.  I also really like the Wrangler/CJ, the 4Runner, and the ZJ Grand Cherokee--the only one I'm actually been in off-road (albeit not seen off-road).

Probably the Defender 90.

FJ FTW!

I'd prefer the larger version, though, for more room.

The Defender is a 110. I don't think FJ's had that designation.

I think that's what I was thinking of. I could have sworn there was a Land Cruiser 110 though

280Z Turbo

No Nissan Patrol?

I'd chose a classic Ford Bronco with a 302 under the hood.

I picked the Lambo, but I like all those.

Why'd you choose a '79 G-Wagon? They haven't changed in, like, 40 years of production, have they? You could've put a newer one up there and I might have voted for it.

Incidently, someone in my hometown is selling a 1946 Willy's Jeep for $1,000. Saw it in the classifieds the other day.

Toyota.  That truck was a beast.  I love it.

I've seen most of them offroad. Modified, the jeeps have it all over everything. Stock, the nod goes to the Unimog. Unless you want comfort and civility in your offroad mix instead of simply the most capable in the worst terrain.

G class if i wanted to off road for a weekend. To have in the city, LM002

And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. I usually assume there's a highway between dirt tracks.
