My god there were 11 generations to that thing?

Tave

I saw a restored 1st or 2nd gen I mentioned on the Spotted thread. I voted one.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

I prefer to think there were only three, and ignore the rest of them.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I like the first through fourth and the non-retro modern one (for completely different reasons).

My vote, though, goes to the bullet.

Onslaught

Probably the first one. I couldn't drive the retro bird if you put a gun to my head. My body proportions must be all wrong because I can't physically fit in one. When I get one in at work I have someone drive it in for me because it's too uncomfortable to sit in. Car must be made for little old shrunken people.

The Big Bird (no picture for it) was probably the worst since it had a 7.5 litre engine and did around 8 to the gallon  :mask:

I voted for the first, it looks like the only that that could go round corners.

I can't chose between 1st, 3rd and 11th!

Bullet Bird!!!

The Super Bird was a disgrace to Thunderbirds.

Despite the fact that I never really liked this car, it had one of the best names of any car ever.

My dad managed to get rid of a 67' stang and '67 t-bird before I came along. And they wonder why I  :partyon: :P

The Super Bird was cool.  It was also easily modified and stupid fast when done.  The disgrace were the HUGE late 70s and 80s T-Birds.

The pics I put for the "Big Bird" and "Aero Bird" aren't working for  me...are they for anyone else?

I'm going to buy a tube radio so we can huddle round it and, by the light of a single candle, listen to President Obama's fireside chats.

The Pirate

3rd gen, followed closely by the the 1st.  Honorable mention goes to the 10th gen, I always liked them.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

I want a Thunderbird. Any Thunderbird. I just want to tell people that I drive a Thunderbird.

the Teuton

I like the first gen the best, but I would love to have a retro bird and an aero bird.  My brother's friend has an aero bird with a turbo SVO and a 5 speed manual tranny.  It's faster than hell and pushing 18 psi.  It could give a Vette a run for the money.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I have always liked the 2nd generation "Square birds".

Square Bird, with Flare Bird a close second.

I'd take this one...

...and any of the Bullet 'Birds.

Classic Bird for sure...all the rest look like an abortion.

850CSi

1st gen.

The super bird is one of the ugliest cars ever built IMO.
