Ah, got it. I remember seeing the press photos of the new Escalade and they were all of the ESV version. This is why I assumed this was a Tahoe.  :ohyeah:

Saw a red Testarosssa "flying mirror" around town the other day. Never seen it before. Waved at the guy and he seemed excited that someone acknowledged his cool car.

VW Vanagon Syncro, shortly thereafter a Mitsubishi Delica, and I think a Toyota HiAce or something like it.

Some sightings from today all in the span of about two hours. I was practicing my panning photography and limiting myself to 1/30th, 1/40th and 1/50th of a second (for most shots), so apologies for some of the blurry photos.

Oh wow! Saw a 1973–1978 T100-T120 Toyota Corona today, but sadly I couldn't get a photo. These were pretty popular in The Philippines when I was growing up. They were sold in Europe but most of them must have rusted away. I was stunned to see one still in running condition. The Corona was pretty far away so I didn't get a close look at its condition.

Looked like this, but the one I saw was dark blue.

The Firebird's for sale.  Wouldn't you love to have something like that when you retire?

It's not available anymore.  I love cars like that, but I'm not sure I want to own one, at least not yet.  I can't do the work, so I'd have to find a mechanic able to work on cars that old.  Then there's the issue of parts.  I love to look at those cars, but I'm not a patient guy, and don't want to spend a lot of time taking care of a car that I would drive maybe once a week during the warmer months.  If you're going to get a car like that, you really have to devote a lot of time to it, and I'm not really able to do that at this point.
