I got my latest copy of EVO in the mail today, and it includes a comparo w/ the R8 vs. a 9114S, an M6 (blah!), and a Prodrive Aston.  I haven't read the comparo yet, but apparently C&D's impressive lap time was no fluke - the R8 lapped Bedford West in 1:22.10 - that's less than a second behind an Enzo and the 10th fastest lap they've ever timed, putting it ahead of cars like the Koenigsegg CCX, the Gallardo, and the 997 GT3.

Shit I wish I were shopping for a car in that price range  :devil:
