Okay there's no price limit but if you could only own one car what would it be? This would be your daily driver and you would have to keep it for atleast 5years.

Do we pay gas and insurance for the five years?

JYODER240

To level the playing field I'll say yes to gas and no to insurance.

911 GT3.? GT3 RS if it has air conditioning.

I'm 99% sure the RS doesn't have A/C.

That's the only thing.  I couldn't take driving in a car that doesn't have A/C.

If it did, I want one in orange.

i'd take an RS4, maybe an avant since it will be an only car.

Otherwise, new Mercedes S Class.

I'd seriously migrate towards a Quattroporte, if I was in PHX, and an LR3, if I was in Wyoming.

Edit: but Chris has me debating between the LR3 and the Range

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

This is a tough one for me. I'd love to have GT3 since it is my dream car. A RS would be nice but i'm not sure how much of an advantage it would have over the regular GT3 if it's not on a track. I wonder how the GT3 would do in the winter since it has almost no ground clearance. A Turbo might be the best choice but i'll have to keep thinking.

The reliebility of a DB9 would scare me. I wonder how it would hold up after 5years and atleast 50K miles.

An Aston Martin Somethingorother!?

DB9

It probably drives like shit (I like a low beltline and a sprightly car), but I couldn't pass on something so beautiful, even if it didn't drive how I liked.

Good enough for me.  I've had to visit the dealer for about 15 things that have gone wrong with my car and the dealer is 2 hours away.  The Aston dealer is a half hour closer, so it couldn't be much worse

Yeah, but you're not paying for the car, so use that money for the gas

Can I get an extended warranty? If so, 911 Carrera S FTW. Otherwise, I am not sure, I just know I can't afford Porsche parts.

If the RX-8 didn't get such sucky gas mileage it would be my pick, but since it does I think I'll take a Legacy Spec B.

TheIntrepid

A tossup between

Aston Martin DB9

and

Mercedes S550 4-Matic (Distronic Plus)

2004 Chrysler Intrepid R/T Clone - Titanium Graphite [3.5L V6 - 250hp]
1996 BMW 325i Convertible - Brilliant Black [2.5L I6 - 189hp]

the Teuton

Either a 993 Turbo S or a 959 with the adjustable suspension.  It would be a tough pick.

My third choice would be a Legacy 2.5 GT Spec. B at the moment.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.
