Easy answer: E61 M5 touring.

And lets not get all worked up over weight distributions here. The best handling cars in the world have more weight in the rear than in the front. Hec, F1 cars have a weight distribution closer to 35/65.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Good taste.  M5 wagon is what I said too. :ohyeah:

I've been meaning to pose a similar question.? Is it better, aerodynamically, to run a convertible (two seat) with the windows down and top up, windows up and top down, or windows and top both down?

The S2000 could hit 140 with the top up, 132 with everything down and 136 with the top down but the windows up.

Note: do not however, run up to 130 with the windows down and then try to raise them!

Umm, what part of 50/50 weight distribution do you not understand?

If the 335i has 50/50 weight distribution, the 330i must have a rearward bias...

And in any case, the ideal weight distribution for a RWD car would be to have a rearward bias...  less weight on the front makes for ideally equal loading under braking, as well as less of a need for power assisted steering...and of course, more weight on the rear makes for more accelerative traction.

And in any case... the more weight you have away from the center of the car the worse it will handle. The N54 turbo's aluminum block and all the turbo components are out closer to the nose of the car... I don't care what you do... the 330i, all things equal (sport package to sport package, I'm sure the 330i's sport suspension was similarly modded) will handle better... it's just physics

S2000 could do 150 i thought.

That's the published number (I've read 146 too somewhere). I could never get mine that high though: which is sort of weird because I could match or better all the magazine dragstrip times.

So for highway driving, going top down and windows up isn't that bad for mileage.  Nice.

I saw one parked behind a ML63 AMG, that was really cool.

I saw an E63 AMG Wagon the other day at the grocery store driven by a mom; I made sure I took a long time locking the car and everything so I could hear the big V8 drive off. That musta been one cool mom.

I'm sure that varies a lot by car. Although I wouldn't be surprised to find the Boxster's attribute to be similar.

And I've got a wind deflector too, so I imagine that would help.  With the windows up, wind really doesn't enter the cabin too much.

Well I've had the same car for over 13 years so I have to say MX-5 for me. Don't have kids, don't have a need for a big trunk and don't like cars that are big and heavy.

I'd sign right up for an Asstek.  Perfect combination of freakish bad looks and pitifully moribund performance.  Would keep me on edge for years.   :frown:

Other than that, the S6.   Enough room to be useful when I need the space, but still sporty enough to get my automotive rocks off on a daily basis. Plus I would never tire of the looks or the luxury.  420 HP V-10 and 0-60 in 5.1 seconds should keep me smiling for a long time!

I'm gonna throw Cayenne Turbo S and Impreza STi wagon on the list somewhere.  There are too many to just pick one.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

For the next five years?  I'm thinking I'm going to purchase a boat before next summer.  And there's some stuff I want to do to my house in the meantime that may require frequent trips to Lowes.  For one vehicle that can handle that, is fast enough for me, reliable enough for daily use, and still cool enough for the Shark to be seen driving... I'm thinking a 2007 Chevy Avalanche with a Lingenfelter supercharger kit.

A Chevrolet Avalanche, or perhaps an HSV Avalanche XUV?

Nope, I like this better.

The Avalanche is one of the dumbest and most useless trucks ever conceived.  I rank it up there with the Hummer H2.
