the accord shown in your post (above) is a pre-2006/'07 model, which can be told by the front and rear ends, wheels, etc.

camry vs. accord? it boils down to a matter of taste.

i think the current camry is quite attractive, as it looks lexus-esq.

the '08 accord coupe is pretty sexy. i like the new sedan much better than the still nice looking current version. the '08 looks bmw-like, w/out it being a copycat.

these sedans are generally affordable, mainstream cars, so one cannot expect them to look like the new mercedes-benz s-class, which many actually hated from pre-introduction pics, as you may recall.

What? Isn't it the 2003/2004 model?

The back end isn't solid red (the 2005) model.
The front is not a 2006/2007 front end. (The grill has chrome)

Camry vs. Accord really is a matter of taste.  Neither car is truly hideous, though both have questionable design elements...the Camry's swollen nose and the Accord's droopy butt.  Of course, after 2006, the Accord's design was "fixed."  We'll have to wait several more years before the Camry (hopefully) gets a nose job.

Accord Rear:
2003-2004:  Red taillamps, clear turn signals.
2005:  Red taillamps, red turn signals.
2006-2007:  All-new rear with triangular LED taillamps.

Accord Front:
2003-2005:  Sharp-edged nose; no false air intakes flanking the main lower air intake; gray grille.
2006-2007:  Sharp-edged nose; reshaped bumper adds false air intakes flanking the main lower air intake; chrome grille.

Accord Wheels:
2003-2004:  EX I4 has 5-spoke 16" ... EX V6 has 7-spoke 16"
2005:  New 7-spoke design for EX V6 ... still 16"
2006-2007:  New split 5-spoke 16" for the EX and SE, new multi-spoke 17" for the EX V6 AT and 5-spoke 17" for the EX V6 MT (previously used on the Acura 3.2TL Type-S).

you are right, i believe!

the 2006/07 (sedan) models either have new (optional) fog lamps or spaces for them to be added, not unlike on the coupes (previous yrs. and current). the '06/2007 accord sedans have luxuriously styled led taillights that give it a highly upscale look w/ safety benefits. the chevrolet impala copied the look, but do not feature led lamps  .

what is amazing w/ the 2007 accord coupe and sedan models is the fact that these out going models are still top ten sellers and are on many "best car" lists, including the top honor for car & driver.

PLEASE hold me accountable if the 2008 honda accord coupes and sedans do not outsell their hot '07 counterparts.

kudos, honda. you truly have another winner in the '08 accord  :ohyeah: ! now, we await the highly anticipated, rumored crossover!!!

As with every generation that has had one, the Accord Coupe is better-looking than the sedan.  The 2003-2007 models, as Lazerous has shown, is probably the best-looking one yet.  Of course, I need to see the 2008 Accord Coupe up close and personal to be sure.

I'm the exact opposite.  I've never found the coupe more attractive, at least not that I can remember.  I also liked the TL better than the CL.

CL looked like $hit IMO. TL is still a looker after all these years. The only coupe I have liked is the 98-02 Accod coupe, and also the current Civic coupe. (that's a really nice looking automobile)

2008 Accord Coupe:? Appears to be the most aggressively sporty design yet for the Accord Coupe.
2003-2007 Accord Coupe:? Definitely more fluid than the sedan.? Very nice looking.
1998-2002 Accord Coupe:? Aside from the awkward rear end design, these were sleek looking cars.
1994-1997 Accord Coupe:? They wore the body flare way better than the sedans.
1990-1993 Accord Coupe:? Blandest one yet.
1988-1989 Accord Coupe:? Only a little racier than the sedan, but definitely looked better after the loss of two doors.

1996-1998 Acura 3.2TL:? Boring.
1999-2003 Acura 3.2TL:? Less boring, but still bland.? It was made much better-looking after the mid-cycle update.
2004-2007 Acura TL:? Sharp-edged design is very distinctive; best-looking TL yet.

1997-1999 Acura 2.2CL/3.0CL:? Stylish design mildly recalled the original Legend Coupe; very good-looking.
2001-2003 Acura 3.2CL:? About as bland as its sedan counterpart...if not more so.

Just my 2 cents.? ?

The best looking Accord coupe is easily the 1998-2002. Too bad its mediocre powerplants couldn't match its looks.

However, I still have a soft place in my heart for the '90-93 Accord. I will probably pick up a coupe next year for a project car.

As far as the rest of the Accord based cars... the only one I care for besides the 90-93 is the TSX; although for what they're charging I really can't justify the somewhat anemic 4 cylinder motor. The 98-03 CL looks like a Monte Carlo, and the same year TL looks 'smushed' and overhangy. The first TL should have been RWD.

The new Accords are great cars... solid, quiet, decently powerful... I just wish they looked better.

A very nice upgrade from the current one. The current one is very long in the tooth.

Zigackly my thoughts. I love the 90-93 Accord's looks and the 98-02 coupe's looks. Having owned a 98 Accord LX V6 coupe, you are spot on about the lack of power in that V6.

The 1990-1993 (4th generation) Accords, in my opinion, are the least visually distinctive Accord yet produced by Honda.  None have been blander.  That doesn't make them bad cars, of course, but given the choice...I'd rather have just about ANY generation other than that one (based on styling alone).
