I was thinking more of bolting one on each door of his hybrid.

With that much more unsprung weight and tire on the road, you'd be lucky to see fuel economy on that car much better than the 4 cyl. model.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

You haven't even heard what I plan on doing with a cement mixer and his trunk.

I voted for the Karman Ghia.  I've always liked these cars.

What color is that and how much did it cost, if you don't mind me asking.  I kinda want to paint my wagon that color when I get the new front end.

It's Ford Sonic Blue, from the late model Mustangs. I paid about $800 for the materials for the paint job (R&M Base/Clear urethane) and did it in my garage. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/cvetters3/fiat_spider.htm

Cool.  I'm just going for paint, clearcoat, etc., because I'm going to have my alma mater's autobody program paint it.  I imagine a paint sprayer was a big part of that $800.  If not, it's on to a little cheaper paint for me.  I'm going for Subaru Blue Ridge Pearl or Sedona Red Metallic.  I can't decide yet.

Lotus Elan for me. My car is a blatant rip off of one so I'd love it.  The Fiat 124,Alfa Romeo and Triump are very cool. Hell, they are all cool in my book.

Oh, I'd do terrible things to get my hands on a restored TR7.

The Datsun picture doesn't show for me.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Where the hell's the 914?

EDIT: woops, that was said earlier.

I'm typically a MGB sort of guy, but that is mainly when it comes to 60s roadsters.  The later MGB was ruined by that black plastic bumper.

So, Lotus Elan.

ro51092

I'll take either the Fiat or the Lotus. I guess I'll go with the Elan.

That's why my buddy had me paint the bumpers on his '78 MGB:

It's certainly much better, especially in that wonderful colour, but not quite the same as the lovely chrome-bumpered models.

Chris stated before he uses a SATAjet, which is about a $400-$500 gun, so I don't think that's included in the paint price.

I've heard good things about the DeVilbiss finishLine guns though, and those are much cheaper.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Triumph TR6, my dad had one instead of a Lotus Europa. He always likes to talk about the sound that straight 6 made.
