Per the link:

"If all goes to plan, JLR expects all Jaguars and 60 percent of Land Rovers sold to be zero-emissions vehicles by 2030, the year its home market the UK will ban the sale of new internal combustion engine vehicles."

You can still buy your ICE Defender for years to come in the U.S. probably.

You know i just remembered that Jaguar already made an EV. Whatever happened to that thing? Sales flop?

Yeah. IMO it was nicer and cheaper than the Model X, but I think it was a low-effort compliance model. A friend of mine has one, he had to get it trucked up from California.  It is SUPER nice inside, has a great badonkadonk butt, and is shockingly fast.

I remember seeing a review that the i-Pace was very nice in all areas except efficiency; it drank an awful of watt-hours / mile.
