The Plug-in hybrid was announced a couple of months ago and has the most power & torque of any Wrangler powertrain options. The full electric one should be officially announced in March.

It's a bit of shame that they're only going to be available in 4 doors, not 2 doors.

Will it ford a 3 foot deep crick?
Only if the batteries are on the roof.

Theoretically, it could drive underwater.

You'd have to surface to recharge the batteries every now & then. Then you're a sitting duck for destroyers.

Yup - God help you if seawater gets into the batteries - one whiff of chlorine gas and you're a goner.
