Title: Did Ford fix the Explorer/Aviator?
Post by: Morris Minor on July 30, 2020, 05:47:22 AM
I remember reading about the production nightmares with these at the Chicago plant; it was a horrible debut. But bad news always makes the press.

I've seen quite a few Aviators around here and they look quite tasty - compelling on paper too.

I think they've fixed the initial quality problems.  The Ford Explorer is selling very well currently (I think the best selling 3 row SUV).  The Lincoln Aviator not so well.  That's expected though because Lincoln always overprices their new offerings.
