Sadly my shop would never bother with that sort of thing, we only deal in OEM size and fitment.

The thing is - not many people have apparently tried to figure out just how wide a tire you can stick under an old Deville. I can make some tape measure measurements and eyeball calculations, but I'd like something a little more definite before I plop down the cash to either buy a set of wheels- or possibly even ordered a set of custom offset wheels.

Well, I guess I'll find out if it works as advertised, I just ordered it.

I'm thinking there's a good chance I could resell it when I'm done with it and recoup some of the costs anyways.

Wow - that seems like a really good idea... I'm kinda surprised actually that nobody thought of it before this
