Saw this in downtown Munich. An absolutely stunning Mercedes-Benz SEC Coupe (C126) with the perfect wheel and body color combination. Absolutely mesmerizing and sexy. Just incredibly captivating and stunning.

That does look good.

Do you know if that is the factory height? Or did they drop it? Seems like very little gap between the fender and the tires.

That doesn't appear to be stock ride height.

That does look nice.  Would make a good low-rider.

When the air bags go, you get a low rider for free!

Coupes without b-pillars look so good!
They were pretty popular in the 50s.

Definitely lowered. My first thought was that the wheels were too big since these 126s came from the factory with what we today consider puny 15" wheels.

The W140 hasn't aged nearly as gracefully as say, the E38.  But yeah, in general he was a master at what he did.

I cant blame him for the W140.... he did the best he could with what Mercedes gave him

Sacco actually styled the W140 with a lower and sleeker roofline. But in the end he was forced to give it a higher roofline for more interior space.

The lower roofline doesn't really help much, and the presenter was correct about the off center air vents...that's always bothered me lol.

In general I dislike the W140 design inside and out. And the coupe version is a total disaster IMO.
