This is the only V12 Mercedes available. This particular V12 has been in production for 21 years and in modified form, for 17. This year it get's a nine speed auto and AWD.
Sorry, but the 2 tone paint scheme on a modern, swoopy sedan looks as out of place as those faux tonneau roof coverings octogenerians love to put on modern Caddies, Buicks, and Sonatas.

There is a galaxy-sized gap in quality between the two, though.
I saw a medium/light blue S580 the other day. I personally wouldn't go for a two tone paint job, but it looked good.

Quality or not, I find the look out of place on a swoopier car design. On a modern Roller, which still has the blockier style of older cars and a pronounced character line to mark the belt line, it still kind of works.
