Cool option, but I'd hardly call it as important as the AGC.

Apollo Guidance Computer - was used for command module navigation to the moon and back as well as lunar lander navigation between the moon and the command module.

It was the first operational computer to be based entirely on IC and utilized a (I think) revolutionary for the time pre-emptive multi tasking OS that managed to prevent an abort condition during the first lunar landing.
