Freddie Mercury's 1986 Mercedes-Benz 420SEL W126 on display at Mercedes-Benz Munich. Apparently Freddie was a total Mercedes-Benz fanatic and during his time in Munich would not ride with people who didn't drive a Benz - hence he often took Mercedes' taxicabs! :D
Freddie Mercury didn't have a driver's license so he was chauffeured around in his cars. After this death in November 1991, his bodyguard took over the car but quickly lost interest. From there the car ended up being auctioned off a few times until it was abandoned and left outside from 1996 to 2016 exposed to the elements (which explains the patina on the exterior).

To be fair, Freddie did have drug and alcohol issues so maybe that was a good thing that he didn't have a driver's license. :lol:
