Agree.  Requiring a separate DMV test for driving a manual transmission would put a final nail in it's coffin.  I don't think, statistically, getting hurt or killed because of being hit by someone who doesn't know how to drive a manual transmission is a significant cause of roadway mishaps.  It happens but really really rarely.  You can't legislate everything.
It's about demonstrating control. License holders who roll backwards on hill starts, or kangaroo hop onto crowded sidewalks are best confined to automatics.

The Second Rolls-Royce Boat Tail Is a $28 Million Symphony of Brown

The foundation of the color is a shimmering blend of oyster and soft rose, with large white and bronze mica flakes adding a unique pearlescent quality that changes subtly under different light conditions. The contrasting cognac-coloured bonnet, created specifically for this Boat Tail, contains fine bronze and gold coloured aluminum mica flakes complete with a layer of crystal and iced matt clear coat, adding significant warmth and depth to the car's appearance. The technical fiber lower sills of Boat Tail incorporate a rose gold woven thread.

All that hoopla and it just looks kinda blah...

For $28 million, I'd expect something a bit more dazzling.  That umbrella really doesn't help much either.

Gotta find the original pics from my shoot with the lovely Dirndl girls in the abbey, but here's a low quality behind the scenes (my light visible top right) version from my Facebook business page.

Old footage of early motorways fascinates me. Look how tight the turn radius's are for the entrances & exits. Also no hard shoulders.

Ordinary affordable family cars in that era were flat out & shaking themselves to pieces probably at 60 mph? So I'm guessing most were tootling along at cruising speeds in the low 50s.

BMW Welt and BMW Museum around 8 PM. Visited this place with former CarSpinner CJ (Clay Johnson) and his husband and also drove them to Neuschwanstein Castle. We had a great time and CJ is one cool guy!

When I was in high school I saw a car that had done the same thing.

Mr. AMG reviews the new C43 AMG. Who cares if it's only got 4-cylinders (I blame the retarded European Union and their bullshit emissions and CO2 hysteria for this...), it's still an awesome car.

A beautiful rendition of a classic...Volvo P1800 Cyan Is Coming To America

...but It Will Cost $700,000

I am a big fan of the original P1800. That is just a sexy, elegant car. This, I'm not so sure about. I like it, but I don't think it's as successful a modernization as, say, the sadly automatic only Alpine. I mean, I'd certainly happily drive one, but I wouldn't pay $700,000 for it.

For 700 thousand dollars they should have figured out how to elegantly install a front air bag.  That steering wheel is great looking though.

We test drove this. It's loaded with HDMI port, blind spot warning and cameras!!!  (Put blinker on and you see the mirror camera on the screen, with curb warning lines too).

It feels really sluggish compared to our minivan but it's in great condition...

Germany has become such a shit hole. And the fucking retards in this country keep voting for the car-hating Greens.

Stuttgart - home of Mercedes and Porsche - will now have a pathetic speed limit of 20 km/h (12.5 mph) in the city center in order to make this area "more attractive for cyclists and pedestrians". Aha. Those same cyclists or pedestrians which cross roads when their traffic lights are set to red and in the case of cyclists who drive around at night without front or rear lights. But when you are involved in an accident with these retards, you as the car driver, are automatically at fault. That's the rule here. And this unfair rule just encourages shitty behavior on part of cyclists and pedestrians - because they will never be at fault.

The last time I was in Stuttgart it was hell on earth. 30-40 km/h on fucking main roads (18-25 mph)... I could not live in such a shit hole city. But you know what? The retards of Stuttgart... FUCK THEM. They voted for the car- and freedom-hating Greens, so fuck them. DEAL WITH IT. Morons.

Flame decals will solve that sluggishness problem without stressing the CVT.

I don't necessarily disagree with this post but I would just add that cyclists/pedestrians that cross the path of an automobile usually end up seriously or mortally injured and so I don't know whether reducing the speed limit for cars to a crawl actually encourages shitty behavior on their part.

At those speed limits might as well just drive a golf cart in the city.  Car would just be for when you leave the city limits or if it's freezing temperature outside.
