It's hard to have fun with the temperature at 120 degrees- so in the summer, it's deserted- ha!, get it?

Warrior's a good, all-purpose trail quad.  Not sure it's got the power to really blast sand dunes or deep sand.  For sand blasting, from the same late-90s vintage, I'd go for a Banshee.  Those 350 2-stroke twins just screamed like, well, a Banshee.

What will be the main purpose of this machine? Trail? Street toy?

Mostly trails! I'm gonna leave it at my cabin in Michigan.

This is true! It wont be seeing any sand or dunes. It'll be mostly trails and few paved roads around my cabin. Plus I got it dirt cheap. 300 bucks! No way I'd find a Banshee that cheap!

The area is called Woodland park! It's 37 miles north of Grand Rapids in Newaygo County. It lies between White Cloud and Baldwin when you drive north on M-37.

Finally getting around to working on the Quad. I relpaced the coil and Spark Plug then I decided to tear all the Plastics off and repaint them. Some one already did a crappy Rattle Can job (They even painted over the decals  :shakesfist: ) on it so I'm gonna repaint it a differant shade of Blue and White!

I went with a Flat Blue Metallic on the front fenders!

Flat white on the rears!

The exhaust pipe was so rusted that I hit it with red Caliper Paint! It instantly burned off close to the head!

90% done! Still got a few decals coming. Brake pads and an oil change will will complete the freshening!

Sorry I hijacked this older thread   I just couldn't help myself.  The title of your thread was so perfect.  Only someone from Cleveland can understand the complete elation I've been feeling for the last week or so.

You're from Cleveland? I didn't know that. I'm down in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. I've got a bunch of friends from Cleveland. Literally cried and a bunch went up for the parade

Yup.  First 25 years of my life I lived there and my folks still live there.  Even having lived over a decade in the NYC tristate area, I still cannot bring myself to wear any Knicks, Nets, Giants, Jets, Yankees, Mets, etc clothing.  I just can't.  LeBron James is from Akron so it makes it even better that a hometown boy finally brought a championship back to Cleveland.

He's still gonna take those impromptu siestas in Miami though
