Not sure how I feel about it.
Power comes from a 2.0L with a 6MT or a CVT auto. I hope it's not the same 2.0L in the Elantra Touring; that engine gets pretty whack fuel economy.
1.6T and DCT optional.
EV model also available.
Kia is dumb for not adding AWD, especially with the new "X-line" Soul.

The styling looks a little similar to that new electric truck.
For the size these things are, I'm surprised they still don't get better fuel economy.
Lol, as soon as I saw the first pic with the red one, I thought they did it... they turned the Camaro into an SUV.
Seriously though, I love-hate the Soul. I like the styling and the roominess, but then I was given one for a week while Focus was getting repaired after a fender bender. Terrible steering, terrible power, terrible gas mileage. It's a cheap and functional transportation appliance.
Yea the current Soul is the first rental car I returned the same day. The steering was absolutely terrible. I know H/K can do decent steering though as the Genesis sedan and my Optima are OK.
Still no AWD  EV version sounds slick, hope that powertrain makes it into the Optima.
That red one actually looks pretty nice. The rear of that red one looks like a devil with horns (the taillights). Quite aggressive.
The old Soul was a rare sight on European roads, well German roads. Most consumers here opt for the smaller Kia cars which are probably not sold in the US.

I was travelling pretty often for work for awhile, and Hertz wasn't giving me good vehicle choices. I would 100% pick a Soul over an Accent, Elantra, or Versa. That might not be saying a whole lot, but there are much worse vehicles on the road.
I don't mind it, it looks more interesting that the previous gen imo.
I thought only gerbils drive these.

I thought they were hamsters.
Definately hamsters.
The debate rages on.
Pretty sure they were jackalopes

It does look interesting; at least noticeable. I see/notice a number of them around here.

A jackalope is just a jack rabbit with horns. A horny jack rabbit is redundant.

In that case, they were probably dingos.
It's still a great commercial.

Too tall to be rodents. Must be furries.
Edgy, urban furries!
Definitely furries
