Will call about it tomorrow, maybe offer $5k even. IF it has the room I want. It's only 2wd and gets crappy gas mileage.
It doesn't sound like you need a huge truck like that. Can't your van thing tow? Or did you get rid of it? This doesn't seem to make sense.

The whole car is gorgeous but that center tunnel (from the interior) detracts

They could've draped a bit of suede over it; to match the suede covered box in the back.

You know what feature cars could use? A function that shuts off the wipers when either of the front doors are opened.

Seems like somebody should already have this; maybe they do and I've never been in one of them when it was needed; but if you've ever had a car shovel a coating of slush right onto its own doors ill area, you know what I mean.

^Hell yeah.

I'm guessing you just unknowingly had the wipers on when you started your car to clean snow off of it, and it got all over your driver's seat?

Yeah, done it a couple different ways this week actually.

Depends on how bad the snow gets.

Good choice.  I'd opt for the convertible though.  Something like this would do it for me as well...$7,700

'64 Galaxie

That is a very special car...as can be seen by the price paid for it, $156,200.00.  With that engine configuration, they are as scarce as hen's teeth.

He purchased a Genuine Ford 427 Hi Riser dual 4 barrel engine assembly part #C3AE-6007-T-IE-361-T. This engine is the most powerful passenger car engine produced for retail sale by Ford Motor Company. The engine assembly was available only through the Ford Dealership parts counter. This XL is equipped with the above-mentioned factory genuine Ford 427 Hi-Riser, pushing 569hp, through the factory top loader 4-speed and 4.11 Detroit Locker rear end.

Though some would argue, the FE 427 was the crème de la crème of domestic race engines of that era.  I would love to get my hands on either a '63 or '64 Galaxie with an FE 427.  It would be the hit at any cruise or drive-in.

However, my pocketbook is relegated only to something like this...

It has only the lowly FE 390 engine which is excessively stout but more suited to a truck.  Still, I'd be happy with it for $20,900.

$7,700 what? Must be something wrong with it...

These are the kind of cars they sell on Tuesdays...largely unrestored with lots of patina...
