Everyone is all like "omg sleeper!" and I'm just looking at those rear tires and imagining how much HP is going to waste because those things can't handle anywhere close to 1200 HP.

AutobahnSHO

So on the way home from work on a three lane 55mph highway, a lowered, darkened ( the wrong way so you can't see lights) Genesis coupe was driving douchey. I just stayed in one lane and ended up in front of him, at a red light that goes to a right handed 280degree cloverleaf onto an express way. Loser gets into the next lane, could tell he was going where I was.

So I gun my 18yr old 4banger and he beats me handily but with my economy tires on the verge of loud screeching I stay on his bumper all the way around until it straightens out into the merge lane. I time it so I am at full throttle and can go two lanes over at my typical 65mph cruising speed and pass the 60mph traffic. ( Also 55mph zone)

dummy is lucky he didn't get nails or whatever in his tires- he just gunned it up to around 70mph but there were no gaps so was braking hard in the breakdown lane after he ran out of merge lane...

This year saw competition for the award narrowed down to eight finalists—but it was a '65 Chevrolet Impala modded by none other than Chip Foose that took home the prize.

Wasn't too surprised it won, that thing is perfect. (Not my style, but that isn't as big of a part of the award as excellent build quality)

He's done a few that, I'm pretty sure, are your style.

A glimpse of the future...

Quote
Autonomous car prepares for 3,500-mile U.S. road trip

Call it a preview of the cross-country road trip of the future.

An autonomous car developed by auto supplier Delphi Automotive will soon be making a 3,500-mile journey across the U.S. A person will sit behind the wheel at all times but won't touch it unless there's a situation the car can't handle. The car will stick mainly to highways.

Companies both inside and outside the auto industry are experimenting with technologies that take more and more responsibilities away from the driver — right up to the act of actually driving the car. Most experts say a true driverless vehicle is at least a decade away.

Eye of the Tiger

Good. All cars other than mine should be autonomous. Autonomous cars will maintain reasonable following distances, stop behind the white line at intersections, keep right except to pass, and not require the use of high beams in traffic... or ever.

Oh. Forgot a digit on the mileage. Dropped to $1321 with 197000 miles instead of 19700

This is an awesome C10. If any of you guys subscribe to /Drive+ on youtube, there's a sweet video of it.

I think it may actually be one of my least favorite C10s in the OUSCI TBH.
