That's a near 500 hp, $120k+ super car for cheap. 4.2 sec 0-60 in a big body Benz.  Apparently the drivetrain is relatively bullet proof too.

Looks to be in decent shape, cosmetically.

And omg shiny plastic wood from 10+ years ago looks so bad nowadays.

A JB4 E90 335i is faster and pretty much better in every way. Those cars are cheap cause theyre not that good. At least get the V12

If you want to throw mods in there, a pulley and tune and the CL55 is faster again.  That's a dumb argument.

Both are going to get to 60 in the 3s with bolt ons. They're matched in that regard. But in everything else the 335i will be better. Better handling, better transmissions, better aftermarket support, cheaper maintenance and parts etc.... its a no brainer

CL55s are a hell of a lot cooler and cheaper.

I think the powertrain for them is quite a bit more reliable than the N54s too.

That runs through my head every time I see a GTR on the road. Glad I'm not the only one.

Btw, that photo was taken on my new iPhone 7 with the telephoto lens. Pretty impressed with how that came out while moving.

I don't think so. The N54 is a very popular platforms and its problems are easily diagnosed and fixed. The CL55 is a much more complex and less common car.

Who the hell cares.  You're like those dubbers that compare STAGE 2 GTI FAP FAP FAP to fucking EVERYTHING because it's "just as fast".

Detailing a new Silverado.

Why does the door lock button work but the unlock button does absolutely nothing?  How does that even make sense.  Seems to happen after the doors have been open for a certain amount of time. The lock button will still fire the locks, but the unlock button does nothing.

Turbo lag is for real. I have no idea when our where this thing makes power.

Upside is this thing can do 100 mph and get like 35 MPG. Fuck the hate, turbocharging works. Gas would only drop like 10%

There's always something that GM does that makes absolutely no sense.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

It just makes me ask WHY so hard.  I can't even comprehend a reason for it. If it ain't broke, make it complicated!

Wait, if the doors are opened, but locked, the unlock button still does nothing? Or only if the door are already unlocked?

If auto engineering is anything like software development (probably not but maybe), it was probably a "bug" that either slipped through QA or someone decided it wasn't worth the time to fix.

The doors were all open and locked (buttons get pressed while detailing). The unlock button would not unlock them.  The lock button would at least fire the solenoid in the same situation, but the unlock didn't do a thing.

Was this unlock button on the door or remote?

The door.  I was cleaning the door panel.  Hit the lock side of it, the doors locked. Then hit the unlock side...nothing.  Not until I hit the unlock button on the remote did it reset and allow the unlock button on the door to work again.

I doubt it. This isn't the first time I've experienced it on GM vehicles. Just the first time I decided to rant about it.

As Michael Scott once said in an elevator "why is there a door close button if it doesn't even close the door?"

Man I should have got a Clio. Same HP, 1000 less lbs. Strangely enough, same performance. But the brown manual diesel wagon is not disappointing.

I have no idea, I don't know when it comes on boost. I know it doesn't like to operate unde 1500 so I guess that's it.

It will cruise at 80-100 in 6th gear at like 30-50 MPG on flat ground though. It's freaky to watch.

Changed a headlight bulb in record time on wife's Impreza. (I'm a super-clutz.)

Only had to backtrack once- closed the hood before I saw the plastic intake attachment thingey on the floor. Had to pop open to snap it back on and put the screw back in...
