Just saw an NSX.  Old one.  It was driving the opposite way as me. Really dirty.

Do a background check on that particular Fiesta. It's probably been run into something, or has serious issues.

...I'm not buying it. I just thought it was interesting

I honestly wasn't sure what it was until after it zipped past. Saw something Honda-ish, but not the norm so I was paying attention, and then once I saw it whiz past and saw the wing in the side mirror I was like fuuuuuuck that was an NSX!

Perhaps the first I've ever seen in person, though it barely counts. Rare spot in the UP though, regardless.

And it was filthy. I couldnt even tell you what color it was besides something dark. Blue or black methinks.

The new Chebby Duralube only has 445 huspowa an 910 torks. Functional hood scoop? Lame.

A little bit of rain won't hurt. Engine just becomes a self cooling steam engine.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

How about a downpour on your way home from work? That intake is sitting up high and would be sucking it all in....

Cool project, but a few things I don't like:

- the wheels.  Way too big.  Tiny little brake rotors in there and rubber band tires
- the roll hoop.  I don't like the single hoop in the middle.  Either span across both seats or go with two hoops.
- the angle everything is mounted in the rear.  Why are the taillights angled down?  And the exhaust going up outside the frame?  Mount those taillights horizontal, and bend some tubes to fit the exhaust under the license plate.

I am kind of missing the diesel torque :(

Oh.  That whole thing was apparently custom built, not an exocet kit.  And he's selling it and wants $25k for it :wtf:

Yeah, I'd rather do an exocet.  I have a lot more faith in a kit like that than some random dude deciding suspension geometries and everything in his garage.

12,000 RPM

Cars are so crazy these days. C&D's 740i weighs 4400lbs, does the quarter mile in the low 13s and has averaged 26 MPG over 13,000 miles.... what kind of sorcery is this?

I'm trying to think of a metric to describe a car's performance efficiency.... something involving 1/4 time + trap, MPG, curb weight and frontal area. I feel like we haven't really grasped how much more efficient cars have become.
