:ohyeah: :praise:
That looks pretty awesome.
But I'm sitting here, looking at the pictures, thinking to myself "What were the guys with C5 Corvettes thinking?" I mean, look at all those classics, and then some guy shows up with his 1999 convertible? Come on!

That white car is a 1953 Commemorative Edition Corvette. It's a C5 with body work made to look like a 1953 'Vette.

It was built by Magna-Steyr. Pretty sweet.
I think someone needs to tell Randy that we have other forums besides this one?

Yeah, it's almost bad as a ricer car. :nutty: Pretty bad.
Yup looks like shit, but it's unique shit.
I have to laugh also at how closely the pic of the owner of that car that BimmerM3 posted fits the stereotypical image of your average Vette owner: white, overweight, middle aged, gold chain wearing, cell phone-on-a-holster putz.

Change the cell phone-on-a-holster to a bluetooth headset and you have the average BMW owner...

I see very few BMW drivers wearing "BMW" ball caps.

When I wear that hat to parties, people ask me sometimes what kind of BMW I drive. I usually tell them the truth, unfortunately. I'm not kidding when I say that there have actually been people who were a little intimidated by the BMW hat. I think that's a little funny, but that badge carries a lot of weight with it, I guess.
No one cares about the Subaru hat. :(
For $16, you, too, can rock the BMW intimidation factor. Just don't let anyone see what you actually drive.

I used to have a "Laguna Seca" hat. Very rarely would someone ever say anything about it. When they did, I knew we had something to talk about.

I met my current roommate because I wore my "I am the Stig" t-shirt freshman year. I know what you're talking about.

They had it at the Atlanta Auto Show in 2005 or 2006. That's why I recognized it.

Well, according to the article I posted, there are over 120 of them.

I refuse to believe that.
That C5 is so ugly.
