I haven't seen anything about this car here. The Czinger 21C is built in California and has the driver and passenger sitting tandem in the center of the car. It weighs 2600 lbs and claims to d 0-60 in 1.9s and the 1/4 mile in 8.3s.

Cool I guess. Wake me when someone builds a 2600 lb mid-engine sportscar with something like the Focus RS 2.3 turbo for under $40K.

Whose engine are they using?  Sounds as capable as a Koenigsegg.

Exactly.  Where is Gordon Murray's T43 that was supposed to happen?  That's the only thing that got me really excited.  1900 lbs, 215 horsepower, was supposed to be cheap.

I don't think the market is big enough. Buy a used Exige.

Whoah. Never heard of it.

California's smog regs prevent me from adapting a Ford engineered turbo setup to the 2.0L in the Miata. It's the same basic engine that's in the new Ecoboost 2.3L they put in the new Mustang.
310 horsepower in the 2500 pound Miata NC ....oh ya.

Just drop an entire engine in.  Should be some available somewhere.
