I agree...hmm...
Oldsmobile Eighty Eight?
Not an 88.
Le Sabre?
Nope.
reatta?
Regal? (somewhat of a wild guess...)
Neither of 'em.
Buick Century?
Caravan?
Nope, and nope.
LTD Crown Vic?
Buick Roadmaster?
And, are they clones of those same Buicks I listed (aka pontiac, chevrolet, etc). It says in the rules that you are allowed to guess multiple "clone" cars.
Huh-uh (no, to both).
I'm not answering anymore right now, I don't want to take away 280Z's glory or whatever you want to call it.

Well, in that case.......no.

Wow! Lots of guesses!
You guys need to think a lot older. This is not an 80's car.
'60s Cadillac Eldorado

I think that's way too vague for a legitimate guess.

nooo, it's got a horizontal digital speedo.
Where do you see a horizontal speedo?
Anyway the point is that horizontal speedos were highly popular on 50's-60's cars. That's where you want to guess.

I mean the same generation as the '57 Belaire that is so famous (I just don't know the exact years of that generation) and whatever Pontiac, Buick, and Oldsmobile clones it had (I believe the Pontiac was the Biscanne (spelling?) but I am not sure about the others).

whoops. nevermind.
It's not a '57 Chevy, but even though GM did rebadging back then, the clusters vary quite a bit from division to division and year to year.
Remember, they changed cars a lot more back then so you have to be more specific.
However, I'll tell you right now that it's not a GM product.
Then I am fresh out of guesses, I am just really not familar enough with cars from that era (particularly domestics) to figure this one out.

-It's a 50's-60's car
-Not a GM product
-Probably not a sports car either
-Not a Model T

It's definitely a Rambler gauge, but your picture looks to be out of an American. It's not the same as the dash in question (Classic and American had different instrument clusters. The American's has a longer needle and different idiot lights).

very close
Then I'll say give it 93JC, unless 280 or a mod thinks differently.
QuoteYou did great with the Prizm, IIRC. ;)
That was a little bit difficult, if it had had cloth seats I would have probably guessed that it was a Corolla, but you just don't think of a car like the Prizm as being available with leather. I was right about the brand though, and at least from the design of the door panels it did look like a cheaper car, the seats just threw me off.

I don't know where Sean found this picture, but he might think it's an "AMC Rambler", "Nash Rambler" or "Hudson Rambler". The car was called "Rambler 6" or "Rambler Rebel V8", depending on whether it was powered by the straight-six or V8, from 1958 until 1961, after which it was called "Rambler Classic".

That was that annoying thread where everyone was guessing Avalon and Camry
Well, you guys are close enough. I don't know much about Ramblers other than what I learned from the song: "Beep, beep" so I don't know how much they changed from year to year.
It is a 1960 AMC Rambler. Check the eBay ad for details:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WDVW (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4553259997&category=31863&sspagename=WDVW)
I'm not really sure who should get this one.
That's actually a "Rambler 6". There is no such thing as an "AMC Rambler".

Psilos can have a go at it if he wants. "1962 Rambler" was pretty close anyway.
That's a damn fine lookin' machine too.
