Yeah basically (but much nicer looking IMHO).

I'm with you.  I have no idea what's what anymore with Cadillac.  I think the interior looks pretty shitty for a $60k car though

So is the CT4 the ATS replacement?  This has a twin turbo V6 it looks like.

The CT5 is the CTS replacement, and has the supercharged V8.  It also has the really dumb looking C-pillar.

The CT4 looks way better.  Exterior is actually attractive, but I'm left wondering the same thing I did with the ATS-V: Could they have just put the LT1 V8 in it instead?  I would have preferred that to a twin turbo V6

Kind of a shame that it doesn't have the Blackwing engine.

I don't mind, like MrH I would have preferred the Chevy pooprod V8. The CT5-V gets the supercharged version of the pooprods.

This car is awesome simply because it comes standard with a 6 speed manual.  That makes this a real unicorn.  Looks great from the outside even with the Banglicized butt.  Interior looks cheap for the money but so does Tesla.

I briefly thought about getting an ATS-V before I got the Miata. Maybe in a couple of years when I need a larger car. I really like the 2016+ Caddy's.

I don't know what you guys are talking about with the interior...maybe it looks worse in person? Certainly looks nicer than my current car (Golf R) and I would say nicer than my last car (Audi S4).

Only thing I see I would have done differently is to give it a flat bottom steering wheel. I really like the wheel in my Golf...that being said even when getting in to my 20 year old BMW that wheel seems fine to once you are driving (even though it doesn't look as nice).

The Blackwing engine would've made it special, now "Blackwing" is just a marketing ploy.
