I have to say I liked the redneck TopGear that Tavarish, Ed Bolian, and Tyler Hoover did.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dom6bmnd_Dc

Loved Ed's add for his Lamborghini.

Hasn't been parked underwater for at least a year
Only 2 wheels are bent enough to cause serious vibration
Only overheats when you drive over the speed limit
Bumper is loose but zip ties are currently holding
All water recently removed from transmission and differential so you are good to go
Burns approx 1 liter of oil/1k miles
Check engine light only intermittent
Fuel gauge inop
Backup camera inop

Don't worry. Stain on passenger seat is from muddy water, not passenger bodily accident.
It's not fast enough to cause those.

Only 10 drag passes, 1 track day, 2 dyno runs, and 1 road trip on new clutch.
Same for tires.

1 key, no books, no tools
Low option car
Doesn't even have the futuristic paddle transmission that everyone else ordered.
It's not really this cool color. It is really black with a big blue sticker on it. Sticker comes with car.

2 loving owners since new
5 total owners
Title is branded/rebuild/bad, Carfax is worse, VINwiki timeline worse still

Asking $125k or best offer.
Will owner finance for $0 per month and 0% interest with 100% down regardless of credit

I've seen that video.

More proof that you can't just put three douchebags together and have it be a compelling car show.

It's impossible to argue with Raza. He wins. Period. End of discussion.

My client with the Opel Monza runs a forum. Sent me this link. He met this guy who owns a 1991 BMW 850 V12 Coupe with an astonishing 500,000+ km (312,500 miles) on it. Original owner, bought the car purely for long-distance driving. Amazing. Great condition as well.

So you could go there, walk up to a hypercar, and just rip it apart? Ooo, sounds cathartic.

If this gets the V6, and is tow rated over 7000 lbs, I'm gonna have to buy one.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Last time I was at a pick-a-part, a guy was removing the radio from an Accord with a sawzall.

Imagine doing that with a 575 Maranello...

I expect that there will be a Baja version.

You could probably make a small fortune taking the bits and bobs which have manufacturer logos on them and reselling them on eBay.

True.

Loot the Ferrari tool kits to start with; $3-4 grand each there.

The is beyond tragic...Ferrari F40

The most significant Ferrari since the 1960s, imo.

ICEs are actually most efficient, in terms of thermal efficiency and BSFC, at WOT.  Fuel mileage isn't great, but you're getting the most out of every bit of fuel.  Some hypermiling strategies revolve around accelerating at WOT (but not necessarily high RPM) and trying to get up to cruising speed relatively quickly.
Back on this. There used to be an annual fuel economy challenge in the UK (sponsored IIRC by Shell.) One of the Car Magazine's journalists, Leonard Setright, used to win the runs so often that there were whispers of shady practices. His technique was exactly what you describe: WOT up to cruising speed.

Patina is one thing, but this is just rust :nutty:

Nah, I don't see any perforations or flakes.  That's just surface patina.

I'd spray it down with penetrol and daily that bastard.

Sounds expensive. Used motor oil is free.

To each their own.  Something like this is okay, imo...

Anything more just looks like junk.  What is even worse is modified/lowered vehicles with a whole bunch of rust all over them.  It's just unnatural.
