Just bought a new yard trimmer. Warranty is one year.... two years if you swear to them you've been using ethanol-free gasoline & they find no evidence to the contrary.
Use Stabil or Seafoam in the gas can you use for your small engines and you shouldn't have any problems, especially if you go for ethanol-free.
