I think I read somewhere that Kona was Portuguese for woman lower bits.

I actually like it.
You can't use the "c" word in today's PC environment. Shame on you.
:muffin:. :hammerhead:
It looks like a decent little hatchback/CUV.
Kona is Hawaiian for leeward and the name of a district on the western coast of the island of Hawaii.
The Portugese slang is spelled with a C.

Oh well, my bad. I hope it sticks.
"Hey Sofia, want to go out this Saturday?"
"No thanks, I'll be home, waxing my Kona."
Honda tried this already:

When I first saw the photos of this new Hyundai my first thoughts were; Inspired by the Citroen C3 and Citroen C4 Cactus.

Doesn't look that bad to be honest.
I had to change the thread title, because my work proxy was firewalling Carspin for "pornography". :wtf:

Not sure how it's worse than "Cox" cable or "Dick's" Sporting Goods.

:praise:
It looks like a knockoff Citroen.
Those secret light clusters that HK likes doing look weird. The proportions are good, but the detailing of the wheel arch cladding is nonsensical.
Especially inside, it looks like the new C3 Aircross.

Really suprised they just didn't ship over the Creta.

Huh? Those look nothing alike other than the fact that they're both relatively standard interior layouts.
Even the exterior is pretty different other than the skinny headlights and the same general proportions.

Although not identical, a lot of the themes between the two are similar - especially since the Hyundai's styling direction comes from thin air. (No other Hyundai looks similar)

Like what? Literally the only similarity I see (other than super generic stuff) is the use of an accent color, and even that is obviously applied very differently.
I can see it in the overall flavor of the exterior, though nothing in the interior. If I saw this car without knowing who made it, my first guess would have been Citroen. There is some Hyundai to the grille, but nothing else that points to that lineage.
Exterior definitely screams Citroen Cactus. Hopefully they have a different skin for Europe. I also hope it has better visibility than the cacti
I guess I kinda sorta see it on the exterior, but it still looks a whole lot more like a cross between the Elantra and the Tucson to me.
Citroen didn't invent nor does it hold a monopoly on two-tone roofs and black plastic body cladding.

It's a town, not an island!

It's a town, not an island!
It's a district. Historically, there was a Kona district on each of the Hawaiian islands.

EVERYTHING is a brewery. Craft beers are the Crossfit gyms of 2017.
Craft beer hit before Crossfit did. At least around here. I really dislike the cult status of Crossfit. The overzealousness of its members ("dude, you GOTTA try it") turns me off entirely. Not that I'd want to do it anyway, but.
