Are these new cars materially wider and lower? The new design language makes them look much much lower to the ground than the outgoing models and gives a very sporty look.

Aspect ratio of height to width have been decreasing over the past 5-7 years for many cars. Heights have decreased a bit and widths have gone up.
Positive direction stylistically, imo.
Except for the rising beltlines and massive increase in bullshit blind spots that shouldn't exist. No wonder people need cameras in order to not run over their goddamn children. :rolleyes:
